About The Neighborhood

The Creekside Meadows neighborhood is a residential subdivision of 70 lots/homes located just off Britton Loop (west off Britton Road, approximately 1/2 mile south of Mt. Baker Highway.) The pastoral setting, rolling hills and peaceful Toad Creek, which runs along the south side of the neighborhood, are just a few of the topographical features of the area. 

The homes in the neighborhood were built by the Carey Brothers LLC in 2 phases from 2002 through 2005.

Shopping

Barkley Village shopping center is located approximately 2.5 miles west of Creekside Meadows. Sunset Square shopping center is located approximately 3 miles west of Creekside Meadows.

Schools

The Bellingham School District covers 97 square miles and has 73,000 residents. Northern Height Elementary, located at 4000 Magrath Rd., is just a quarter-mile south of the development. The school is one of the newer schools in the area and opened in 2002 with an estimated attendance of 386 K-5 students. Middle schoolers in the neighborhood, grades 6-8, attend Shuksan Middle School. The school, located at 2713 Alderwood Ave., was rebuilt and opened in 2009. The high school in the area is Squalicum High. It opened in fall of 1998 for grades 9-12. The facility is the third high school in the Bellingham School District. It is located at 3773 E. McLeod Rd.
